can you tell me how old and how much would i be able to get for my vintage singer sewing machine?

Depends on the model and condition. 201 and 221s are much sought by quilters for (imo) ridiculous prices. 301, 401, and 404 models also have quite a following. On the other hand, you can pick up a 15 or 66 off the curb the night before garbage collection (and those are good machines that sew well!) Some models are close to unrepairable due to lack of parts.
