reoccurring dream...what does it mean?

ever since I was about 9 I have had this reoccurring dream. In the dream I am running through a old house. its filled with old baby carriages, mirrors, porcelain dolls, things that look like from the Victorian. I finally reach this room with mirror covered with a white clothe. I take the clothe off and I see myself but not really me in a Victorian dress. Then all the windows shatter and i see my reflection covered in blood. This dream happends every year, the only thing changes is my age. what does this mean? why do I have it every year? is it a sign or memory of a past life?

Your dream signifies your emotional state. First the symbolism. The baby carriages and porcelain dolls are all symbols of childhood innocence and being carefree. The mirrors and mirror symbolize the imagination and a link between the conscious and unconscious thoughts. Seeing yourself in the dress symbolizes that you wanted to be free. The shattering windows represent unhappiness and betrayal. Your reflection covered in blood represents disappointment and being afraid that others will see you in a negative way.

Something happened to you before age nine that was very tramatic for you emotionally and hurt your self image. Running through the old house represents the old feelings and emotions you had before age nine and also that you are running away from something or someone. All of the stuff you see (baby carriage and dolls) is taking you back to how carefree your life was before whatever happened, happened. Even though whatever happened to you was not your fault (you were to young) you feel guilt and shame because of it. The relection you first see in the last mirror is the way you want to feel again, beautiful,carefree and innocent, but the event that happened is shattering your image of yourself and you are afraid that others see it too. You are feeling emotionally exhausted because of this. You have not yet dealt with it and put it behind you. If it possible that you were abused as a child, either emotionally, physically, verbally or sexually or do you think you might have been? This dream is pointing in that direction and because it is a reoccuring dream it seems to be saying so.
