New rubber washer inside the top of toilet Fluidmaster fill valve, why won't water come out of tube now?
The problem is the toilet was slow to fill up, so I put the new rubber washer in and put the top of the fill valve back together, but the water won't come out of the tube now and it wants to spit some water out of the top of the valve. I put the old washer back in and it worked as normal. The washers are exactly the same, so why is it not working?
I am going to be honest with you...these fluidmaster valves used today are all cheap junk and act up often .spend the 12 bucks-get a whole new valve-spend 15 minutes installing it and save yourself a headache.
