what is a good tool to remove stubborn car bolts?
Hi, I'm trying to fix a car's brakes, but can't do the job thanks to some seriously stubborn bolts. I am using a socket wrench and some penetrating oil, but they still don't budge. I was thinking of renting a power tool to make it easier, but don't know what tool is powerful enough to remove seized and stuck bolts. Would a regular power drill be enough to do to job?
You always need the leverage of 1/2 drive metric shallow well sockets and a 16" ratchet or 16" breaker bar.
An electric power drill is useless for this job. 3/8 tools don't work very well either. There's no way to adapt the 1/2" drive to the end of a power drill.
