Where can we get the original copy of the Old Testament?

Can anyone tell me where can we get the original copy of the old Testament?
Apart from this, I'd like to know the ancient heights and ages of humans ranging from Prophets like Adam, Jacob, Moses, Joseph, etc up to modern people like us.

The Jewish scribes have meticulously copied scrolls for thousands of years. The TaNaKh is Jewish scripture (what xtianity insultingly calls the 'old' testament). Torah portion is the first 5 books and the original is found in the TaNaKh or Torah and in Hebrew. Translating Torah is very difficult because words have root meaning and numerical values and cannot truly be translated with all the rich meaning of Hebrew.

The Jewish TaNaKh used established mythology of its time as parables to teach. The surface stories are rich in metaphor and sarcasm - and often makes fun of the mythology used.

Adam means 'man' or 'mankind' in Hebrew - and the story of Eden is a parable.
Jacob means 'trickster' and becomes Israel - meaning to struggle with God - that is what Judaism does - struggle with the idea of what God can be - even IF he can be - Judaism is a questioning religion.

Judaism has developed over time. The ancient thought like ancient people and had cultic practices of the ancient people, but modern Judaism has the consciousness of modern times.

To read Torah in the xtian version is a mistranslation and xtians only understand the obvious story. As you've probably heard the saying, "you may look and look and see nothing." It is a sealed book and xtians don't bother to understand anything about Jewish interpretation.

Its exactly what muslims do and assume about xtianity. muslims have xtian old testament and gospel stories, and assume they have the final word and are satisfied with that knowledge. muslims don't bother with silly xtian interpretation of their own bible, just as xtians don't bother with Jewish interpretation of their own scripture.

muslims and xtians operate with massive assumptions that are not easily corrected.
