HELP, PLEASE LOOK AT THIS CAR AD FOR A 71 CHEVELLE?
I am looking for one to do minor work on and enjoy and maybe sell.
Please check this ad out and let me know what you think. If i paint it up anice and clone it to a ss , and get the emblems, and keep the original 307 motor and make it look nice. What could i get for it? And is it worth it? What should i offer the girl for the car. She is a young woman and siad she bought the car and doesnt want it anymore, no more space on her property. Something sounds fishy? What do you think....is this too cheap?

the trunk floor is rotted, the chasis is rust free, the sides need some bondo , the interior is good, she just put headers on it(its a 307)

The interior is the cheap part to replace. It is going to need a complete restoration and that isn't cheap. I would find one that is in better shape to start on. They have discovered what it will take to repair and have decided to dump it quickly and are hoping for a profit. BTW...if it has such low miles on it, it should be in much better shape. They are probably just reading the odometer which can't show any number over 100,000. The true miles are probably 161,500 or 261,500.
