What do you think of this business idea? How easy / difficult is it to sell advertising space?

Imagine an 8 + page (Free newspaper) that is distributed in the 10s-100s there. Advertising space is $ 40 per week for more ads, which is 3x3 ". Advertising space can be used for advertising, coupons, announcements of events etc. In a city of 200k, 600k copies would be distributed service stations, fast food places, bus stations etc. There are brief editorials throughout the document to keep a player glued / interested. The Bill would print weekly $ 700 approx. 63 3x3 ad can keep a record of 8 pg. What do you think? I'm thinking of buying a franchise from one of these companies at a modest price of $ 8.5k. Would it be easy to sell? I think this is advertising cheap compared to the listing in the newspaper, and more copies are distributed. All editorial, graphics, layout etc. is performed by the office of the company. My job is to sell, sell, sell.

Although printing costs would be $ 700 per week, you will need to watch your expenses. Will you provide design served for customers who wish to advertise in your paper? And if so, how would you design fees be? Do you want to write the articles yourself, or would you need to pay for staff to write them for you? Is $ 700 a week, a fixed price? The printer is likely to establish prices soon? Distribution? Gas stations, fast food places, etc. be prepared to take your paper? It is very cheap advertising comparitvely, but people are more likely to pick up a newspaper and read it rather than "community newspaper" a little. $ 8.5k is a good price for an established franchise, but if you still need to spend more money on computers to design services, etc., then you may need to re-consider.
